Assured
Billing Lookup (ABLTM)
ABL
service combines two of
Accudata
's
most sought-after services into one automated, two-stage process.
This thorough service helps telephone companies complete more
collect calls. When a caller dials a collect call through an
ABL
-serviced
company,
Accudata
queries the North American LIDB databases to confirm accurate
billing information. If the LIDB query returns verified billing
information, we respond to the carrier that the call should be
placed. If the LIDB cannot confirm appropriate billing information,
the second step of
ABL
kicks in. This step, called Billing Name and Address (BNA)
verification, queries secondary databases for a corresponding,
current, mailable billing address. If we find the address, the phone
company can allow the call. If not, it can deny the call. The entire
ABL
process takes place in a second or two, unbeknownst to callers.
VoIP
Information Database (VIDBT)
Operating
like a traditional Line Information Database (LIDB) that can provide
billing validation and Caller ID names for telephony applications,
the
Accudata
VIDB
stores similar caller and billing information necessary for unique
VoIP applications, like location addresses. As the world migrates
from traditional telephony to VoIP, the demand for billing
validation and caller names will remain - plus the addition of
VoIP-specific information. Our VIDB storage and lookup services fill
the gap to provide this vital information to customers. Also, some
customers simply wish to know if a number is a VoIP number. Our VIDB
service provides that information as well.
Mobile
Information Database (MIDBTM)
Operating
like a traditional Line Information Database (LIDB) that can provide
billing validation and Caller ID names for telephony applications,
the
Accudata
MIDB
stores similar caller and billing information necessary for unique
mobile or cellular applications, like location addresses. As the
world migrates from traditional telephony to cellular, the demand
for billing validation and caller names is still there - plus the
addition of VoIP-specific information. Our MIDB storage and lookup
services fill the gap to provide this vital information to customers
including whether a number is a cell number or not.
Used in combination,
Accudata
's
LIDB, VIDB and MIDB services can quickly identify if a line is a
regular landline, VoIP, or cellular.
Accudata
can even include the name of the line's service
provider.
