Overview
Line
Information Database (LIDB) Storage
A
LIDB database contains subscriber information, such as a 10-digit
line number, service provider ID, equipment type (payphone, POTS,
etc) and billing specifications. This data is used by other service
providers to decide how to respond to a call.
Accudata
is an active LIDB facility, and stores the LIDB information that
telephone service providers rely on to screen collect calls, bill to
third parties, accept calling cards, and indicate phone types. We
offer carriers an alternative to paying their competition for data
storage.
In
fact, with the revenue sharing plan, carriers actually make money by
storing their data in our LIDB.
Every time a service provider
accesses the database, Accudata shares a portion of the fee with our
storage customers.
LIDB
Validation
For
validation of billing, we provide a link to every LIDB database in
North America
on our own SS7 network for
real-time validation of collect, third party, and calling card paid
calls. With LIDB validation, customers are able to identify if the
service is non-POTS residential or business, such as a payphone or
prison, and receive the Account Owner information to indicate the
LEC providing local dial-tone service.
LIDB
validation, available real-time or batch, benefits local exchange
carriers, long distance providers, telemarketing companies, and lead
providers to name a few. The possibilities are endless.
·
Telemarketing
companies save costs associated with marketing to non-billable
customers and inactive telephone numbers.
·
Lead/ list providers
enhance customer service, while gaining a competitive edge, by
screening telephone numbers from leads to ensure they sell the
highest quality leads to their customers.
·
Research companies
block or delete specific calls, such as calls from payphones. Customers
may also take advantage of our new Carrier
Type Lookup (CTL) service to identify wireless numbers.
From our VIDB, we provide billing validation of VoIP callers and
VoIP number identification. With the same business advantages of
traditional LIDB services, VIDB validation addresses the unique
needs of changing technologies and VoIP service providers.
Also similar to LIDB service, MIDB validation provides
wireless telephone number billing validation. Just as it always has
done in the traditional telephony market,
Accudata
provides the accurate information that wireless service providers
value most.
Calling
Name Database (CNAM) Storage
Unique
in the industry, Accudata stores both LIDB and CNAM information in
the same database, saving our storage customers from duplicate
administration updates. For no charge, Accudata will store your
subscribers' Calling Name data, and you can earn revenue when
other carriers access the data for calling name delivery (or
enhanced Caller ID).
CNAM Service
Accudata
is linked to every CNAM database in
North America
to return Calling Name information
instantly. With CNAM delivery, carriers create revenue opportunities
delivering nation wide enhanced Caller ID to their subscribers.
Just like LIDB, CNAM offers a wide variety of applications to
customers from telecommunications to telemarketing.
·
Marketing companies
and lead providers validate Calling Name information associated with
a telephone number to improve lead quality.
·
Call centers update
their aging customer databases with CNAM information, matching the
most recent Calling Name with the telephone number.
Bankcard
Authorization
Accudata
validates credit and debit cards to make certain they are valid,
current and not stolen or suspended. The service can indicate if
there are sufficient funds to pay and whether the customer is likely
to pay based on previous payment history. Accudata can also provide
"capture" transport services for completed sales transactions
and back-end funds settlement.
·
Internet companies
use our bankcard solution to make sure the credit card number and
information is valid before the individual registering for
membership is allowed to continue and begin using their service.
Billing
Name and Address (BNA) Service
Long
distance providers, direct marketing firms, billing companies and
other telecom service providers rely on Accudata's regularly
updated BNA information to bill consumers directly or to update
customer database records. BNA service is not just for billing
anymore. Cable companies, appliance or furniture companies or any
other company relying on order entry can also take advantage of BNA
information.
·
Companies delivering
products or dispatching personnel to a customer's address use BNA
services to complete delivery information for a customer instead of
using sales personnel time to enter this data. These companies save
additional costs associated with key stroke error and the
possibility of delivering to the wrong address.
ABL
service combines LIDB validation and BNA service into one automated,
two-stage process. When a caller dials a collect call,
Accudata
queries the LIDB databases for billing validation. If the query
verifies the billing information, we respond to the carrier that the
call should be placed. If the LIDB does not confirm the billing
information, BNA queries secondary databases for a current, mailable
billing address. If we find the address, the phone company allows
the call. If not, the company denies the call. The
ABL
process takes only moments and helps telephone companies complete
more collect calls.
Working
Telephone Number (WTN) Service
Our
WTN solution is the right solution for telemarketing companies, lead
generation providers and similar services. Accudata screens a ten
digit number (TN) against a combination of
CNAM, LIDB and other sources and responds with an indication
whether the TN provided is a working number or not.
Companies save time and money screening TNs before sending to
an agent to avoid placing calls to numbers not in service.
